This, for me, is as simple as working with Gary again.
And it wasn't-- I mean, I said yes before I even knew what it was.
It was sort of like, "We're doing a thing called Mother's Day.
We'd love you to come play a part."
I was like, "Okay, I'll come. Let's do it. It'll be fun."
And then working with Jen, too, because I got to do a couple scenes with Jen,
and Jen and I have been friends for a long time, so that was fun for us.
It made us want more. We're like, "We've got to do more of this."
And then, yeah.
And so here I am, enjoying another Gary Marshall production.
It's all about family for Gary, and his relationships with everybody.
He's been working with the same people forever.
So it's a real family vibe, and that's sort of my--
I appreciate that. I like being around that.
And it makes for really wonderful days, a happy set, really great energy.
And everybody's just sort of happy to show up and come to work.
It doesn't feel like work.
I have to give a lot of credit to my very first acting coach out of Sacramento
named Ed Claudio.
He took me in when I was *************
and had me sit on my hands and do scenes without any hand gestures
and just use my eyes, which I think I'm so grateful for now
because I realize how important the eyes are
